Silambarasan rushed to a hospital

Silambarasan was actively involved in the shooting of Vaanam when he encountered an unfortunate accident. Director Krish was filming a scene in which Silambarasan was required to drive a bike at high speed. The actor lost control of the vehicle and fell down and hurt himself.
He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where the doctor examined him and declared that he suffered minor injuries in the hand and feet. Silambarasan has been advised complete rest for the next one week. Vaanam also stars Bharath, Anushka, Sneha Ullal, Sonia Agarwal and Prakash Raj.
